From the time records were kept, as of July 4, 2023, grants in the amount of $392,581.06 have been awarded to 865 Idaho Veteran families. To receive a grant, the Veteran must have received an honorable discharge, served in the Armed Forces including the National Guard and Reserves, and be a resident of the state of Idaho.
An application is available through your county service officer or the Idaho Veterans Advocate Office in Boise, Idaho, (208) 577-2300, or is printable through this website. A copy of the service person’s DD-214 or Verification of Service MUST accompany the application before a determination can be made.
